Paul S. Cohen, M.D.

A native of Syracuse, New York, Dr. Cohen received his B.A. degree from Syracuse University and his M.D. from Downstate Medical Center in New York City. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Boston City Hospital, Brigham's and Women's hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. In 1980, following a career in academic medicine at Harvard Medical School and SUNY Upstate Medical University, Dr. Cohen began his private practice in Syracuse. Dr. Cohen is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the Onondaga County Medical Society. He continues as a clinical professor of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he has taught medical students and residents since 1977. In 2005, as part of his continued commitment to providing medical education to physicians in training, Dr. Cohen served as a visiting professor of Internal Medicine at the Royal College or Surgeons in Dublin. In 2007, Dr. Cohen was selected by his peers through a national rating organization as one of the Best Doctors in America. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Cohen has authored many medical journal articles and has lectured widely to his colleagues and to the general public within the area of internal medicine. His areas of special interest are differential diagnosis, preventative medicine including the early diagnosis and treatment of cancer, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, osteoporosis, and the maintenance of wellness. Dr. Cohen greatly enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities such as jogging, rollerblading, and skiing.

Lynn Neuburger, P.A.

Hailing from Long Island, NY, Lynn is a board certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of clinical experience. She obtained her P.A. degree from Rutgers University in association with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and has worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Lynn is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her areas of special interest include women's health, emergency care and internal medicine.

Steven Shamosh, M.D.

Dr. Shamosh comes with over 25 years of experience in internal medicine and has been providing primary care to adults in northern New York before moving to Syracuse. He is a Fellow and Laureate of the American College of Physicians and has sat on the Ethics and Professionalism Committee and Health and Public Policy committees for the state of New York. Dr.Shamosh enjoys practicing internal medicine as it allows him to treat patients across a spectrum of health conditions and provide preventative care. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Shamosh’ s first career was as a physicist in New York City, where he taught courses in physics, biochemistry and physiology to medical students and physician assistants.

Mark Stever, P.A.

Mark is a lifelong resident of Central New York and has been a board certified Physician Assistant for nearly 20 years.  He received a B.S. degree in Biology with his Physician Assistant Certificate from LeMoyne College where he graduated in 2002.  For the first seven years of his career he worked at two Urgent Care centers in Liverpool and Fayetteville, New York.  He later joined a Gastroenterology practice in Auburn, New York with both in-patient and out-patient experience; gastrointestinal medicine has remained one of his special interests in his current medical practice.  Starting in 2012, he joined a Family Medicine group in Liverpool, New York.  Mark has maintained an affiliation with the LeMoyne College Physician Assistant program as a clinical preceptor.   His current medical practice focuses largely on preventive medicine and he is also experienced at performing minor office-based surgical procedures. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar and is an avid outdoorsman.

Lisa Diglio, P.A.

Lisa Diglio is a native of Georgia where she has been practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant with a focus on Family and Internal Medicine for the past 14 years. She trained at Emory University and graduated with a Masters in Medical Science degree as a PA in 2001. She has over 20 years of broad experience in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Women’s healthcare. Lisa has served as a mentor for many Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioner students throughout the years and hopes to continue doing so. She has moved to Syracuse with her husband, a Syracuse native and her children and is excited to begin this new chapter in their lives with family nearby.
